Terms of Service

1. What is this service

AI Rules Generator(“the Service”) is a web application that uses AI to generate personalized coding rule files for AI-powered code editors including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, and others. The Service is operated by gordan.valenta@gmail.com.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You sign in using your GitHub account via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub credentials. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Free tier and paid plans

• Free tier: 5 rule generations, no payment required, all 5 editor formats included
• Lifetime Pro ($29 one-time): unlimited generations, package.json upload, generation history

Prices are displayed in USD. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST) are calculated and collected by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the charge to your payment method.

No refunds on lifetime purchases. Due to the nature of a lifetime one-time payment (immediate access to unlimited AI generations), all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from using the Service, contact us at gordan.valenta@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it.

5. AI-generated output disclaimer

The rule files generated by the Service are produced by AI language models (Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI GPT). Output is provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind.

• Generated rules may contain errors, outdated conventions, or advice unsuitable for your specific project
• You are responsible for reviewing and testing all generated output before use in production environments
• We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of generated content

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls (e.g., manipulating free-tier counters)
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically harvest generated output for resale or redistribution
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service or generate excessive load beyond normal use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of any project descriptions and files you upload. The AI-generated output belongs to you. The Service's branding, UI, and codebase are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on generated output.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zagreb, Croatia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
